In our everyday lives, we don’t often realize that there are standards everywhere – even though many of them have a major impact on us. Standards are of benefit to trade and industry, consumers and society.
As a member of a Danish Standards committee you can - together with other stakeholders - take part in setting standards for the future both nationally and internationally.
The purpose of standardization is first and foremost to create value for each company. Therefore, Danish Standards also advises companies - large and small - on how to get most value of the standardization work.
Danish Standards sells standards, eco-labels, courses and consultancy services and promotes knowledge about standards and eco-labels – and their value. All interested parties can participate in the development of standards through our more than 230 standardization committees.
